Play Group

Here is the schedule for playgroup for the rest of the year. We will plan on having it at a park @ 9:30 unless it is bad weather, then we will meet at the house listed. If the day doesn't work for you to host, please trade with someone and then let me know. Thanks so much! Even if you aren't hosting please come:) See you tomorrow at Harry LaHood Park, or at Barb Selden's if it is bad weather.

Hi Ladies!  Lets meet up at Washington Park (Lincoln Street) again

Monday - 9:30 am
(In case of bad weather we'll meet at Heidi Johnson's home) 

To make this easier, we are going to put together a play group rotation.  And by we, I mean Heidi Johnson :)  She has volunteered to help me out with organizing the play group - THANK YOU HEIDI!  Thus, I am going to turn this over to her.  Anyway, she is going to put together a rotation of those who are willing to host play group.  If your name is not on the list (those who I have talked to already) and you are willing to host play group once in awhile (Monday mornings at 9:30) please contact Heidi at halvorsen.heidi@gmail.com.

Even if you are not on the list to host, we would still love to have you come!  If you get assigned a day to host and you can not host that day, please switch with someone and let Heidi know so she can put up the changes on the blog.  For now I think the general consensus is to meet at parks until the weather gets cold.  So, if you are signed up to host, we will use your home as a backup  - for the next month or two.  Thanks!

Hey Ladies!  We were supposed to meet at the Montgomery's tomorrow, but they have some sick kids today.  So, let's not all show up ;)  Instead why don't we meet up at a park again as it is luckily supposed to be a beautiful day!

Play group getting started

Fall is just around the corner and big kids are headed back to school!  That means it is time to get our play group started up again!  We are looking at having play groups on Monday mornings at 9:30am starting September 10th.  If you are willing to host play group at your house, check your calendars and look for the sign-up at church these next few Sundays. It is a great way to get to know some of the sisters in the ward and for the kids to have somewhere new to play.  Should be fun!

PS - Once I get the sign up list a back, I will only send out email reminders about play group to those who sign up (let me know if you want your name added and you didn't sign up) as I don't want to annoy all the sisters with emails when it doesn't pertain to them!  Thanks!

Summer Spectacular Continued

Since some of you were not able to complete your teepees (or even start due to your diligence helping out in other areas - thank you!), we have set up a night to work on them! We will have a teepee making night for those who would like help Thursday the 6th of September at 6:30, meeting at the church. 

We know there were some sisters who wanted to do the glass dish etching and we are working on finding a date to work on that as well.   We'll let you know!
