RS Birthday Celebration

What a fun activity!  Thanks to all our presenters and our Activities Committee!  I am excited to see how our quilts turn out.  Here is the recipe from Lois for the yummy dessert we had:

 

Hawaiian Wedding Cake

 

1. Make a cake using yellow cake mix only add 1/2 c softened butter and use milk instead of water.

     Bake in a Jelly-roll pan.

2. For cream layer:  Beat 1 c. milk with 1  8 oz. pkg. cream cheese and 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding   

     mix.  Spread this on the cooled cake.

3. Drain 1 large  can crushed pineapple and spread over cream cheese layer.

4. Spread 1 tub of Cool Whip over the pineapple.

5. Sprinkle 1 c. shopped walnuts or pecan and 2 c. coconut over the Cool Whip.

6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
